Presbytery Treasurer Position Opening
Presbytery of the Miami Valley is a governing body of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) serving 43 Presbyterian churches in Southwestern Ohio. The presbytery prepares, equips, nurtures, and connects congregations in their ministries for God’s mission.
We are seeking a volunteer treasurer who will collaborate with our staff and trustees to oversee the accounts as we follow the presbytery’s financial guidelines and fiscal policies. Experience with fund accounting and familiarity with computer financial software highly desired. While hours may vary, we anticipate a time commitment of between 5-7 hours per week. Most of this work may be completed remotely with occasional meetings in person. A stipend ($3000 per year) and mileage reimbursement (at IRS business rates) are available.
