Equipping People for Ministry in the 21st Century

The Equipping for Ministry Network provides opportunities for churches and individuals to work together. It provides resources for growth and nurture of people in ministry. The library of resources may be accessed and checked out by churches or individual members.

A coordinating team from the network churches meet together to oversee the resources available through the Learning Resource Center at Southminster (LRCs).

The Learning Resource Center at Southminster

The Learning Resource Center  (LRCs) is arranged by Dewey Decimal System and all materials are cataloged online. The LRCs contains books and DVDs, as well as other print resources and audio-visual materials and a children’s collection.

The LRCs is open to all members or staff of the churches in the Presbytery of the Miami Valley. There are no fees required to use the materials

The LRCs is open for self-serve check-out anytime the church is open: Sunday 9:30 A.M.-11;30 A.M. (call first, please), Monday-Thursday from 9:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M. and is fully handicapped accessible. The LRCs is often staffed by a volunteer on Mondays from 10:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M.

Adult Education

The Network also offers adult education classes at regular intervals. These class are all held currently at Southminster Church. Speakers may be invited to speak in other churches, if two or more churches cooperate in sponsoring a speaker or topic.
