The purpose of the Synod of the Covenant’s (SOC’s) treasurer is to analyze and report on the Synod’s financial condition and provide financial analysis and accurate and timely financial statements so that the Synod can carry out its operations and mission. The treasurer is a corporate officer and has a fiduciary responsibility to the corporation. This is a volunteer staff position of up to ten hours a week.

The Mission Residency Program at Westminster is an eleven-month opportunity beginning in September 2024 for a recent college graduate exploring a possible call to professional church service, e.g. social work, education, or ordained ministry.
The Mission Resident will be encouraged to pick a focused ministry area in addition to active participation in the current ministries of Westminster.

First Presbyterian Church, Middletown, is seeking a part-time Director of Music Ministries (approximately 25 hours per week) .
The Director of Music Ministries is responsible for developing the music ministry of the congregation, strengthening worship and congregational life through the choir and music opportunities for children, youth, and adults and equipping those persons for such ministry. Specific duties include providing music at all worship services and directing (or overseeing) all church music ensembles. Ideally the Director of Music Ministries will be an accomplished organist too, although this is negotiable.

Xenia United Presbyterian Church is seeking its first Director of Older Adult Ministries to help us further our ministry to Xenia seniors, both within and outside of the church. The position is expected to average 20 hours weekly. We envision a ministry with emphasis on fellowship, service, education, and pastoral care (though this is not primarily a visitation position), but we are open to where the Spirit may lead.
