We are a small, close-knit Presbyterian church looking for a new Church Secretary, 9 hours per week. The ideal candidate will work 2 weekday mornings, but flexibility is possible, including working remotely and working a few more hours during busy weeks.
Responsibilities include personal interactions, such as greeting people who come to the office; answering the phone in a kind and professional manner; maintaining confidentiality when appropriate. The other responsibilities are editing, printing and sending out our weekly worship bulletin, monthly newsletter and annual report; routine correspondence and maintenance of church calendar and directory; assisting church officers with reports, records, and assembling meeting information. Other duties include maintaining our church website and editing, formatting, and posting our weekly worship videos to YouTube and our website.
Skills required: Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher. Ability to draft and format forms and documents. Ability to maintain website and edit, format and post videos.
Hourly Wage begins at $15.

Worship Pianist/Organist
