Music Director

Covenant Presbyterian Church. Springfield, is seeking a part-time Music Director to lead and expand our energetic and spirit-filled music ministry. The successful candidate will work closely with the pastor, the Rev. Jody Noble, music teams, and staff to lead music for worship and other services, help the congregation grow in our musical abilities/ministries, and share our music ministries within the community.
Our worship music reflects a balanced and diverse approach that includes traditional sacred music, gospel music, and worship and praise music in congregational worship services and events.

Covenant Children’s Academy is seeking a Director/Teacher starting July or August 2026.
The Director/Teacher is a 16-20 hour per week staff position that would require 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Monday through Thursday and flex with start and ending times before and after school. The candidate must hold either an associate or bachelor’s degree and have skills in financial management, family engagement, safety of children and staff, and staff leadership. Ideally, the candidate would teach our 3-year-old class two days a week and focus on director’s responsibilities the other two days a week.
Philosophy: Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, active educational environment for children ages 3-5. We believe that children learn by playing and doing. Our program is designed to focus on activity, both for the children and the teachers, to help the children discover and use their gifts for optimum social, emotional and academic growth.
Additional: Covenant Children’s Academy will celebrate 75 years as a preschool in September 2026. We are supported by and located in Covenant Presbyterian Church in Springfield. We have an energetic partnership with the Springfield Museum of Art. Our program has knowledgeable and experienced staff in place, and a beautifully diverse student/family community.
