International Peacemaker to visit PMV
Presbytery of the Miami Valley invites members of the community to four conversations with International Peacemaker Gaia Magdalena Łuczak:
September 28 at Springfield Covenant Presbyterian Church
September 29 at Belle Center United Presbyterian Church
September 30 at Oxford Presbyterian Church
October 1 at Dayton Corinth Presbyterian Church
The goal is to raise our awareness of refugee and peace issues around the world and to equip us to look at our own contexts to try to discern where the Spirit is guiding us. The Presbyterian Peacemaking Program is a ministry of the Compassion, Peace and Justice ministry area of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
Gaia Magdalena Łuczak is a humanitarian activist working in Poland. Professionally associated with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, she works in cooperation with Grupa Granica, focusing on the rights of minorities at the Polish-Belarusian border.
