2024 Presbytery Women’s Spiritual Nurture Retreat
The 2024 Presbytery Women’s Spiritual Nurture Retreat will be held April 12-14, 2024, Friday evening – Sunday morning worship, at Kirkmont Center, Zanesfield.
Interested women of all ages are invited to mark their calendars now to plan to attend this two-day sabbath retreat, which will reconnect you with God’s miraculous creation, provide ideas to take home, and offer activities which help to renew our spirits and deepen our faith.
The worship leader for the retreat will be the Rev. Nancy Ross-Zimmerman, Pastoral Affiliate, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Dayton. Speakers at the event will include the Rev. Ann Melick, Pastor, Eaton Presbyterian Church, Beth Pool, Youth Director, Eaton Presbyterian Church, and Cindy Wakeland, Director of Christian Nurture, Xenia United Presbyterian Church.
There will be laughter and prayer, games and singing, worship and study, all within an atmosphere which honors each participant’s needs and personality. Details of programming are still being finalized however popular activities of years past, such as yoga, a book study, nature hikes and more will most likely be part of the weekend. Participants may sign up for everything or choose to do your own thing!
The cost of the retreat is $200 and includes retreat programming, two nights lodging, and five meals. Partial and full scholarships are available.
